![]() Students will implement and support Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) for employees that work from home, or on the road. Students will learn about Wide Area Networks (WANs), connecting networks that are in different geographic locations. Students are introduced to wireless architecture, infrastructure and new standards, designing and implementing both enterprise and home networking wireless equipment. It discusses the Internet of Things (IoT), and their increasing prevalence in the industry. This chapter covers configuring Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Voice over IP (VOIP), and discusses virtual networking both on-premise and in the cloud. Students are taught about Power Over Ethernet (PoE), Quality of Service (QoS), and Network Address Translation (NAT). This chapter also introduces students to Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs). Students are taught about both threat management and security appliances to help monitor network traffic for intrusion detection and block unwanted traffic on your network. ![]() This chapter covers enabling and configuring firewalls in both Windows and Linux. ![]() This chapter also discusses new ethernet standards, and teaches the basics of troubleshooting network connectivity. Students will learn about networking architecture and connecting devices to each other. It teaches students about Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) and Doman Name Services (DNS). ![]() Ch 4: Network Addressing and ServicesĬhapter 4 introduces IP addresses (both IPv4 and IPv6) and subnetting networks. Students are also taught about network devices including routers and switches, and how to install those devices in both a home and a data center. This chapter discusses both copper and fiber cabling, and the differences between the two. Ch 3: Networking Cabling and Hardware Devices Students are taught about the three-way handshake, and network ports and protocols that will be elaborated on in later chapters. This chapter introduces the OSI model along with terms and acronyms the student should be familiar with before proceeding. It discusses the basics of the TestOut Network Pro and the CompTIA Network+ certifications. This chapter introduces the TestOut Network Pro course.

![]() Got a list of the working drives in the PC and the HD I had plugged in to the HDD Docking. Went to ‘Command Panel’ ,’Admin’, ‘ Comp, Management’, ‘Disk Direction’. I took the bull ( HDD Dock) by the horns, ignored the Driver ? supplied, plugged the lot in and waited, Nothing. If information technology’s spinning just you still can’t access the drive, try a dissimilar means of accessing the drive before declaring information technology expressionless. If yous don’t feel a slight vibration, pick it up (gently) and twist it left and correct and you should experience a sort of gyro effect because of the spinning platters. Note that you can normally feel a hard drive running if you affect the top of it very lightly with the pad of one of your fingertips. If the drive doesn’t show upward in Windows Explorer or Disk Management, there may be a problem with the drive itself or the Hard disk drive dock. The drive partition(southward) should now be visible in Windows Explorer. If so, create one or more partitions on it, format each partition and assign each a bulldoze letter of the alphabet. If it doesn’t show up in Windows Explorer, go into Disk Direction and see if the bulldoze is recognized. Plug a hard drive into information technology and see if you can scan it in Windows Explorer. It doesn’t need a driver, it’s just a USB-to-IDE|SATA Hd dock. I want to use this ‘caddy’ to format one-time Hard disk drive’s, and use the SATA HD we accept caused, as an external drive without putting the SATA in the PC case. Going back to my opening of this thread, where I quoted the window message ” Delight go to Control Panel to install and configure system components “, what does it mean ? and is there any value in post-obit this thru, and if yeah, how ?. So the PC is not reading the ‘All in 1 HDD Docking’ driver, I believe it is only reacting to a disk in the tray ?. Etc, have no idea what to use.īefore, I put the driver CD, for the ‘All in 1 HDD docking’ ,in the tray and eventually got a window with options to ‘view photo’southward’, ‘print photo’south, ‘ copy photo’s’ or ‘ take no action’. PeterC, I went into Windows Explorer and found the download for the 875, got a ‘Windows cannot open this file,’utilize web’ was 1 choice, I did that and got a list of RAR files, such as WinZip, Win Ace, RARlab Win RAR, and Shiftit expander. ![]() Cheers Steve, that is the HDD docking unit of measurement I am referring to. |
